Wilcza 22
The five-storey townhouse at 22 Wilcza Street is a rare architectural treasure, located near Trzech Krzyży Square and Łazienki Park in central Warsaw. Designed in the 1890s by celebrated architects Aleksander Woyde and Karol Kozłowski, this neo-Romantic building has remarkably survived the challenges of time and war.
In a commitment to preserving its historic legacy, Von der Heyden Group collaborated with the co-owners of the front section to carry out a meticulous, multi-phase revitalisation. The restoration included adding a new upper floor, installing a panoramic glass lift in the courtyard, and refurbishing the façade, staircase, and entrance gate.
This thoughtful renovation has brought the building back to life—blending restored 19th-century elegance with modern functionality. A revitalised passageway and contemporary lift now elegantly complement the building’s historic character.
